In addition, the company has also confirmed that its future flagship smartphone will support this fast charging standard. The new fast charging solution from Realme claims that it features a safe, low-voltage charging solution supported with a super high power conversion rate of 98.7 per cent via dual GaN charging solution.
Additionally, the company has also confirmed that it will launch the industry’s first 12A charging cable that will support that charging speed.
Meanwhile, Realme first introduced the 67W fast charging solution in 2021 with its number series and then it introduced the 150W fast charging in early 2022 with Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone that claims to deliver 100% charge in under 20 minutes.
However, leaks and rumours have revealed that the first smartphone to come with this charger will be the GT Neo 5. The handset is expected to launch in the first quarter of this year. In addition, the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It is also rumoured to come with a Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilisation.
